PrivacyPolicy

Last updated July 2026 · Effective for all bharatcall users globally.

01 Commitment to privacy

At bharatcall, your privacy is our core priority. We build messaging, voice calling, feeds, stories and channels with end-to-end encrypted chats designed to protect your personal communication from unauthorised access.

02 Information we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run a fast, reliable, secure platform: account details (name, username, mobile number and email), authentication credentials (salted and hashed passwords and 6-digit PINs — never plaintext) and technical metadata (IP address, device session logs and timestamps for security and device verification).

03 Encryption & security

Messages, photos, videos, voice notes and files in private chats and groups are end-to-end encrypted: they are locked on your device and we cannot read them. We can still see account details and when and with whom you chat. Your recovery passphrase is never sent to us, so we cannot recover encrypted chats if you lose it. If you report a message, your device sends a copy of the messages you chose to our safety team, and we erase that copy 90 days after the report is closed. Chats with bots, text you choose to send to AI features, posts and stories are not end-to-end encrypted. Voice and video calls are encrypted in transit. We do not store plaintext passwords or PINs. All sensitive data is protected using industry-standard hashing algorithms.

04 Data retention & your rights

You have full control over your personal data. You may request account deletion, view active device sessions, or export your account metadata at any time by contacting our support team.
